Adult Employment

Workforce North services may include, but are not limited to:

• identifying and developing job opportunities

• assisting with creating and updating resumes

• completing job applications

• preparing for job interviews

• completing cover and thank you letters

• providing on site job analysis

• assisting employers to identify and eliminate barriers

• follow up services

• assistance with initial orientation and onboarding (as appropriate).

 

Workforce North helps to identify areas of concern or additional services needed to help you maintain or advance in your employment.  These can include job coaching, asking or receiving reasonable accommodations, finding assistive technology, and receiving assistance with interpersonal communication.

 

Follow up services include communicating with the employer (if appropriate) to ensure that essential performance standards are being met, and to offer assistance and resources (if needed) to facilitate the adjustment to your new position.
